Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a nice weekend, laid more sod around the new patio and bought a froo-froo metal bench that was 250.00 for 89.00! I was so happy over the savings! It looks great out there. It should last "forever."  Did soccer stuff and watched some movies....we rented 2 for us adults (i can't believe i found 2...i never find anything we WANT to see and rarely rent) and they were rated pg-13 (my type.haha) and comdies. One was "Anger Management" and the other "the In Laws"....the former was pretty light and funny...the latter...was just okay...not bad but not great but okay. 

I will take the week off....so I wish you a Happy Safe and enjoyable thanksgiving day...and "break."

We had a nice weekend...but the temp dropped Sun from 80 on friday to 45...and 52 today...STILL we have these HIGH HIGH winds...gong on 2 weeks it seems....common'!!!! That blows (no pun intended) .

To those who ever served our country or ever will serve her or serves her now....God bless you and THANK YOU. I am so greateful for you.

I am Thankful to be an American. I am thankful for my faith. I am scared at how Christianity seems to be under-the-gun lately and demined....so I need to watch this in the upcoming year and start letting my voice be heard...or soon we may be like China or a Muslim state where religion is regulated by the govt...and some are "illegal"....that is not good, but I certain can see it. I see the bias of a few who are "squeeky wheels" who are passing laws the majority of Americans do not go for (but don't really speak out on). IF we don't START soon, our kids may have to go "underground" as in the catacomb days to worship.  No time to be shy. We need to stand up and say I AM NOT ASHAMED TO BE A CHRISTIAN (OR JEW). (those are the 2 so persecuted lately...esp. Christian.). So, speak up and don't be ashamed. Write and call and email media and senators, congressmen, the local papers,etc. Let's do it for God and for our kids and our country! You know??

Day starts like this: "Wake up! We are late! The electricity went off last night...it is 7 and the bus already left!" I jump out of bed....indeed, it is *light* out. Dang. I say right away, "Should we call next door?" (the 3 friends) "No, I saw them leave on the bus." My husband responds. I think: what jerks NOT to call us...in the past she would...but now she is miss jealous because we have been doing a lot of thiings in and outisde of our home. How stupid. Why be jealous? Stupid.

Then, I rush to prepare 3 breakfasts for my 3 kids...and get 3 uniforms ready. Then, "pushing" them to move fast (no tv, no play)...brush teeth,etc. Then, 10min before we leave, my youngest (5) says "sign my folder"...I go do do that and discover he didn't do homework...so I get it out and give it to him asking him to "rush"...then, I notice there is a turkey project DUE today. Dang. I rush and cut this turkey out and get out glue and wallpaper and sparkles to decorate it....meanwhile my daughter is barking she has 3 words to still "find" on her Wordfind homework....my son volunteers to help her...she barks about "no"...I bark "let him" (he is great at wordfind but younger than her and I think she didn't want to feel "less" because a younger kid found them...but when he found them for her she was happy. ). Dog was barking outside....hubby was barking inside "bring the dog in!" I was not in anything I could go "out" in... so I passed the bark on (haha) "(kid name here) bring the dog in!" ..."I can't"..."you have to!"...."I can't. I am busy." etc etc

oh yes, an insane start to this day.

Also, I take Synthroid daily...it is very necessary you take it once a day at the exact same time....of course I missed that and took it late at 7am. I did bad this week with it...dang...I missed 1 day and took it late 2 days. Not good. Esp. as they'll be checking me soon at the docs.

Then hubby calls me from his truck on his cell phone and says "I got them there on time." But, then I ask, "Call me when you think we can meet for lunch." (We were supposed to today. He was out of state all week and unable to yesterday (busy) and last week out of city for the last half of the week...so I have not seen him much really.). He replies: "I don't think I can today...being 45min late...I have a LOT of work to do...and it needs to get done." Dang. That so sucks. But, we will see.

Okay....so the day just began here. It is a gorgeous day out so far...sunny and just nice. So, now to make some nice coffee and have some breakfast quietly and calmly and try to recover from this morning.

Wow..GREAT weather day!! I can get spoiled. It was like 82 and sunny...just great!!! Love it!!

We had soccer practice in the pm....in the day i worked around the house, shopped and watered all the new sod, tree and new plantings and watered the new cement patio portion...oh, and played w/ the dog who stinks like poopies...i think she stepped in it.....grosssssss  I also picked up some (2) great CD's at Family Christian bookstore....both of Nicole C Mullen..now I have all her albums . Love her. Want to get more..but I need to slow down and exert patience.

My doc called. I will be called by the office manager tomorrow to schedule my shots (i have to go to the hospital daily for it and at weeks end get a catscan on my neck...if anything "lights up" then it didn't kill the thyroid tissue and will have to come out via operation....if nothing lights up but my neck is still swollen to his touch...he may still want it out to be SAFE. Ug. Pray I won't have to have an operation!! I don't want it. Pray it is not cancer, too! ha.  I hate doing this stuff during the holidays.).

Making Chicken now...mmmmm..smells good.

Jim got in safely and arrived around 1am last night (this am). It was grrrrrrrrrrreat to see him!!! We were both zonked out, however! haha Then, he got halfway to work and was going to get gas (very low) when he noticed he left his wallet at home and had to drive ALL the way back home to get it so he can get GAS....he drove on fumes but made it.haha Don't you hate that? Happens.

We meet for lunch tomorrow .

I met a lady from church today at the Family Bookstore....cool. (A christian store. ) We talked and I updated her on my status...and she said she'll tell father for me. They talk all the time. She will pray for me, too...sweet .
